Seymour Vendok, a devout Christian, who was raised at an early age to believe in god, gets his dreams dashed as his life falls apart, which causes doubt in his faith. He falls into a deep depression, and out of mania, leaves his home and plans to not return. That is, until he meets a demon by the name of Judas, who decides that Seymour is just the man he needs for his job.
